It introduces renovation measures taken by the country’s related authorities and practitioners and probes into the deep-seated reasons why so little effect has so far been achieved. It’s the first time that scholars have ever reviewed disorders in China’s academic publishing in such a multi-dimensional scope. Through briefing the raft of reforms currently launched by the Chinese Communist Party and the State Council, the author expresses her expectation on the upturn of the situation.
