Abstract
Measurements have been conducted and data have been available on radiant flux measurements of ultraviolet light sources for many years. However, there was a high degree of uncertainty in the results below 300 nanometers. The most recent NBS standard of spectral irradiance permits measurements to be conducted in the 250- to 315-nanometer region with greater confidence. This paper describes a procedure for obtaining precise measurements of spectral irradiance and spectral radiant flux in the ultraviolet region.
