Lighting for Petroleum and Chemical Plants

Abstract

Foreword—For the past four years the Industrial Committee's Petroleum, Chemical, and Petrochemical Subcommittee has been studying and evaluating the lighting needs for its industry through committee member experience and through committee inspections of typical facilities. This report represents the committee's findings and recommendations as they relate specifically to lighting for production and safety. This report should be used in conjunction with the material listed in the references and, especially, the “American National Standard Practice for Industrial Lighting.”
