Abstract
There have been notable developments over the last two years in the field of electronics, and in particular in regard to process control and data acquisition equipment. The purpose of this paper is to illustrate how new techniques resulting from improved electronic capabilities can be applied to illuminating engineering measurements. Recent work in this field has led to the development of fully automated equipment for both photometry and spectroradiometry. These two areas will be discussed separately, although each is connected by a commonality of approach.
