Media Education for Schools

Abstract

Media are very much a part of life today. Mass Media education has acquired importance since an increasing number of young people spend more and more time “media-active.” It is a fact that the media is today’s most potent teacher.

The goal of media education is to make viewers “appreciative, critical and discriminating.”
