Abstract
In its quest to achieve “Health for All by the Year 2000,” Indonesia has, among other things, launched the Village Papers’ Project ‘Koran Masuk Desa’ (KDM) and the Rural Broadcasting Project.
Both projects have received wide acceptance, although it has been realised that in Indonesia, like in most developing countries, the people are more a “listening and viewing public rather than a reading public.”
