Satellite Television Broadcasting in Asia-Pacific Countries

Abstract

Contrary to popular belief satellite delivery of TV broadcasting may not solve many Third World problems.

This paper looks at the history of broadcasting in the Asia-Pacific region with emphasis on countries using satellites and their experiences.
