Abstract
Television in China is at a cross-roads where past and future meet. Delphi and cross-impact analytic methods are used in this paper to outline interactive patterns between television and social-economic factors that possibly suggest future directions.

Lin Sun
Lin Sun, Ph.D. in telecommunications, Michigan State University, received his Masters degree in communications from the University of Hawaii, and his BA from the Beijing Broadcasting Institute. He was a TV news reporter and producer at China Central Television (CCTV) before going to the US.
