Abstract
This paper discusses and analyses the impact of satellite technology and concerned policy issues in a ‘changing Asia’. The author shares a critical perspective in the process of searching for the political, economic and cultural significance of satellite communication technologies, asking who gains, who pays and who bears the burdens of their usage, among others.
