Cultural and Media Practices on Health and Family Planning of Selected Urban Poor Communities

abstract

This research study constructs a cultural and media profile of 18 selected urban poor communities in Metro Manila, the Philippines, as they practise health and family planning using various forms of media. It involves the demographic and psychographic assessment of the family planning (FP) and reproductive health (RH) situation and practices of the 18 villages, which are located in seven cities and one municipality.
