Erratum

The article entitled ‘Planning versus Chaos in Clausewitz's On War’, by Terence M. Holmes, was published in The Journal of Strategic Studies, Volume 30, Issue 1, pages 129 – 151. The initial sentence of the first paragraph on page 137 of this article contained misprinted text. The text on this page should read: Whatever one may think of this historical critique, it does bring out the point I am driving at, which is that Clausewitz viewed prediction as an important aspect of strategy, a key to creating advantages that could prove decisive for the outcome.
