There are doubts as to whether minor, but nevertheless creative, curriculum projects and programmes in developing countries get a fair chance of being studied for their intrinsic value. Existing directories of science education curricula supply valuable information, but not always in sufficient detail. This is true especially for analysis of the curricula's content areas, the education approaches and the degree of integration. This article describes a co‐operative effort made to create a representative, international network of centres for integrated science education and an instrument to describe integrated science education programmes so that they can become availableto more potential users and adaptators. Some of the problems encountered in the development of the instrument are discussed. In the appendix the Integrated Science CurriculumInformation Form (ISCIF) is given in full. The authors suggest that ISCIF should be tested under varying conditions and that feedback shouldbe used to improvethe instrument further.

Die bestehenden Nachschlagewerke über Curricula in der naturwissenschaftlichen Erziehung enthalten zwar wertvolle Information, aber diese sind nicht immer ausführlich. Das gilt insbesondere für die Analyse der Schwerpunktbestimmung von verschiedenen Aspekten wie Inhalt, erzieherische Ansätze und Integrationsgrad. Es bestehen Zweifel, ob weniger bekannte, aber dennoch nicht minder wichtige Unterrichtsprojekte und Programme in Entwicklungsländern an die Fachwelt gelangen und auf ihre Bedeutung und Eignung geprüft werden.

In dem Artikel wird der Beginn der Zusammenarbeit von repräsentativen, internationalen Zentren fur integrierte Naturwissenschaftsprojekte beschrieben, und ein Instrument entwickelt, mit dessen Hilfe entsprechende Curricula beschrieben werden können, um so einem weiteren Kreis zugänglich zu werden.

Einige der Probleme, die in der Entwicklungsphase auftauchten werden beschrieben. In Anhang ist der ‘Integrated Science Curriculum Information Form’ (ISCIF) vollständig abgedruckt. Er sollte jetzt unter verschiedenen Bedingungen ausprobiert werden; die Rückmeldungen sollen zur weiteren Verfeinerung des Instruments führen.

Il n'est pas certain, que les projets et les programmes des pays en voie de developpement, si peu connus soient‐ils, mais non moins créatifs, aient une chance d'etre examines pour leur valeur intrinsèque.

Cet article presente la tentative de créer un réseau international plus représentatif des centres pour les sciences de l'éducation, et de développer un instrument permettant de décrire les curricula integres des sciences naturelles, ce qui augmenterait le nombre des intéressés.

Il discute aussi certains problèmes, qui ont surgi pendant la phase de developpement. Le formulaire d'information sur les curricula integres des sciences naturelles (abréviation anglaise: ISCIF) est presente en entier dans l'appendice.

Les auteurs suggèrent, que l'ISCIF soit mis a l'essai sous ses différentes formes et que les critiques qu'il suscite, puissent servir a specifier ce formulaire.
