Phase Transition of Cholestanyl ω-Monohydrofluoroalkanoate

Abstract

The phase transition of cholestanyl ω-monohydrofluoroalkanoates[C27H47OCO(CF2) CF2H, n=1,3,5,7] (CAHFA) was studied by DSC measurement. No liquid crystalline phase was observed in the homologous series of CAHFA.
