Abstract

The temperature-field phase diagrams of (1−x)Pb(Zn1/3Nb2/3)O3-xPbTiO3 (PZN-xPT) (4.5% < x < 9%) were investigated under the fields applied along the [001]c, [011]c, and [111]c directions in the pseudo-cubic coordinate. The temperature-concentration phase diagram, obtained from the temperature-field phase diagrams by extrapolating the phase boundary to the zero field, was also presented in PZN-xPT mixed crystal system. The stable region of the orthorhombic (O) phase was determined, and the triple point, where the tetragonal (T), orthorhombic (O), and rhombohedral (R) phases meet, was found on the temperature-concentration phase diagram.
