Abstract
This paper described methods of determining of the coexistence curve in liquid mixtures of limited miscibility. Particular attention has been given to the visual methods, involving the measurements of volume of coexisting phases. These methods allow for the simple determination of the universal magnitudes describing the shape of the binodal curve as well as the values of the critical temperature and concentration. As an example, by means of the visual method, the miscibility of the nitrobenzene-decane solution has been studied. The experimental data also allows one to get acquainted with the way of changing the coexisting phases' relative volumes on removing from Tc
