This paper reports some of the findings of a study of evaluation in religious education in Catholic secondary schools in a Sydney diocese. The overall purpose of the study was to investigate teacher understandings of, and practices in, the evaluation of secondary religious education curriculum. The research reported in this paper was funded by the Australian National Catholic Education Commission.
