Abstract
The influence of different stress conditions on the susceptibility of intergranular cracking in two-dimensional polycrystals with various textures and texture sharpness is discussed. The computer simulations indicate that the distribution of large-angle random grain boundaries inclining at different angles influences the propagation of intergranular cracks. The intensity of texture in polycrystalline materials is also an important factor affecting the propagation of intergranular cracks. The type of texture also influences the propagation of the cracks a little.
