Abstract

Dislocations in single crystals of Pd₂MnSn Heusler alloy compressed along 〈110〉 have been studied by transmission electron microscopy. The observations are correlated with the recently reported drastic decrease of magnetization by cold working, and a mechanism for this is briefly discussed.
