The effects of temperature, composition and strain rate on the deformation microstructure of Ni3Al

Abstract

The {111} and {100} APB energies of Ni3Al have been measured as a function of aluminium and boron concentration. temperature and strain rate. The corresponding microstructure of deformed Ni3Al and the associated mechanical properties have been interpreted in the light of the findings.
