Teaching evidence-based medicine using Educational Prescriptions in general practice

Pages 380-381 | Published online: 03 Jul 2009

Abstract

This article describes a new method of teaching evidence-based medicine in one training general practice which has been popular with the registrar and partners in the practice. The teaching and learning with an Educational Prescription aims to equip the registrar with skills for lifelong, problem-centred, self-directed learning. The scheme can easily be introduced into any training or teaching practice.
