Abstract
Undergraduate medical education has been revolutionized by the publication of the GMC document entitled Tomorrow's Doctors. Special study modules form part of the new curriculum.These modules are aimed at providing students with an opportunity to study subjects outside the realms of the core course and pursue areas of special interest to them. This paper will discuss special study modules from a student's perspective.
