Electroweak phase transition in split SUSY Footnote*

Abstract

The existence of the strongly first order electroweak phase transition (EWPT) in Early Universe is one of the necessary conditions for successful electroweak baryogenesis. To incorporate this idea we generalize Split SUSY model by splitting Z 3-symmetric NMSSM instead of MSSM. We have found that the strongly first order phase transition can take place in models where effective μ-parameter is of the order of splitting scale (so called μ-split scenario), while in models where μ is of the order of electroweak scale the phase transition is weaker.

†In Standard Model the only source of CP-violation is CKM phase. Even if the phase transition would be of the first order amount of CP is not sufficient to give needed value of the baryon asymmetry. But here we do not discuss CP-violation.
