Abstract
The notion of community as the people in a particular place with consequent common interests is explored. Common Ground has objectives of linking the emotional and subjective elements of community with the professional, and the purposes of three projects, Parish Maps, New Milestones, Trees, Woods and the Green Man, are explained.
