Abstract

Over a decade in the automotive sector, diesel engine analysis has been taken by researchers for the improvement area. Diesel engines were extensively used worldwide than any other category of engines due to its fuel running cost and engine efficiency. The development of diesel engines increased enormously, relative increase was seen towards the weakening of diesel fuel which was its power source. The diesel fuel was exhausting the detrimental emissions. As globally, emission norms of vehicles become very stringent, the researcher has a need to look for the wider alternative. In this paper, a promising alternative of bio seeded Mahua Methyl Ester oil was investigated on the performance and emission analysis in a single-cylinder diesel engine with the influence of varying fuel injection pressure.
