A detailed heat transfer study on Al2O3/Paraffin wax as a PCM with different shape of thermal energy storage compartment

ABSTRACT

The consistently expanding energy crisis and rising worldwide temperature make interchange energy advancements an appealing examination territory. We have found a variety of alternative energy, out of which solar energy is the most perfect and readily available source for energy storage application. In case of energy storage application phase, change material is the promising material. Phase change materials have increased impressive consideration among specialists over the most recent couple of years because of their one of a kind property to control the temperature, to store the energy and the board. Among the different PCM, Al2O3 is the most generally utilised material as it has an adaptable liquefying point, huge dormant warmth and is non-dangerous and non-destructive in nature. This paper centres around the charging and releasing time of Al2O3/Paraffin wax in various storage compartments.
