Observations on the further optimization of radar signal processing for the display and detection of targets in sea clutter

Abstract

The opportunity to report the results of trials of new radar processors in really heavy seas is strictly limited. This paper gives a series of display photographs using a log-log receiver in a pair of pieces of otherwise conventional coastal surveillance equipment during severe gales in January 1983.
