Abstract
The main purpose of this commentary is to place the contributions of the papers of this issue within a framework provided by the social psychology of intergroup relations. This will help readers to see the contributions in a broader perspective, as contributing not only specific kinds of information but also extending our understanding of intergroup relations in general.
