This article refers to:
Assembling security in a ‘weak state:’ the contentious politics of plural governance in Lebanon since 2005

Hazbun, W. (2015). Assembling security in a “weak state”: the continuous politics of plural governance in Lebanon since 2005, Third World Quarterly. http://dx.doi.org/10.1080/01436597.2015.1110016

When the above article was first published online, the author referred to the concept of ‘hybrid sovereignty’ as published in ‘Beyond the “weak state”: hybrid sovereignties in Beirut’ by Sara Fregonese, published in Environment and Planning D: Society and Space, 2012, Vol. 30, pgs. 655 – 674. The paper’s endnotes should have shown that the work of Dr Fregonese was first referred to by Dr Hazbun on pg. 2, when the concept of “hybrid sovereignty” was introduced to his article, in addition to the later reference that appeared on pg. 4. We are happy to amend the scholarly record.
