Abstract
This epilogue responds to the articles in this volume from the perspective of recent developments among charismatic Chinese Christians in Singapore and Malaysia. The Health and Wealth Gospel is one among many revivalist movements to have impacted Chinese Christians in recent decades, and many have adopted aspects of its practices. In the process of localisation, however, this global cultural flow is inculturated into church groups with histories, social structures, values, and perspectives that exist quite apart from the specific theology of the Health and Wealth Gospel.
