‘A review of transport noise indicators’ (DOI 10.1080/01441647.2012.706332) by Cristina Pronello and Cristian Camusso, Transport Reviews.
This article was originally published online on 24 July 2012; this constitutes the version of record. In line with the STM Guidelines on Preservation of the Objective Record of Science that ‘articles that have been published should remain extant, exact and unaltered to the maximum extent possible’, the article will remain exactly as it has been published online with a link to this erratum.
After publication, the following error was discovered, which we now take this opportunity to correct. In Table 4 the ‘X’ related to the last eight indicators (km2 of the territory with Lden > Lden, limit; km of the infrastructure with Lden > Lden, limit; km2 of the territory with Lnight > Lnight, limit; km of the infrastructure with Lnight > Lnight, limit; % of people exposed to 55 < Lden < 65 dB(A); % of people exposed to 65 < Lden < 75 dB(A); % of people exposed to Lden > 75 dB(A); Population having access to quiet areas (within 500 m of residence)) were mistakenly placed under the ‘Noise annoyance indicator’ column instead of the ‘Noise exposure indicator’.
