Educational Psychology at the Core: Adapting a Sustainable Method for Core Journal Lists

Abstract

Building on previous research, the author describes the mixed-methods approach, using tools familiar to most academic librarians, utilized to create a list of journal titles for possible inclusion in a core list of journals in the discipline of Educational Psychology. The result is a five-tiered list from which 37 journals are identified as being core to the discipline.
