Abstract

A novel, volatile buffer system utilizing dilute triethylamine-formic acid is useful for high resolution HPLC separation and quantification of nanogram amounts of prostaglandins. Lyophilizability of the buffer facilitates subsequent mass spectral, bioassay or radioimmunoassay analyses.
