Abstract

Ammonium molybdate and Copper sulphate were found as good impregnants for improving the separation of some closely related thirty synthetic dyes on silica gal ‘G’ layers using the solvent system BuOH-AcOH-H2O (25:5:10). Tables are presented to illustrate the comparison in resolution of dyes on plain and impregnated silica gel layers.
