Discrimination in public recreation: Attitudes toward and participation of females

Pages 231-240 | Published online: 13 Jul 2009

Historically, women have been discriminated against in a number of ways. In recreation, the same is true. A number of alternatives and suggestions for change, including both legislation and economic sanction, are given in the report, along with a number of possible directions for future research.
