Pages 366-377 | Received 28 Jun 2010, Accepted 27 Sep 2010, Published online: 04 Mar 2011

Abstract

This paper deals with the nonlinear theory of thermoviscoelasticity. A uniqueness result and the continuous dependence of solutions upon initial state and body loads are presented for heat conducting materials of the Kelvin–Voigt type.
