ACKNOWLEDGMENT
At both of my social work field placements I was privileged to work alongside seasoned, caring, and empathic professionals who modeled for me, a novice in the field of social work, the priceless value of the support they provided to clients. Often, there were no limits to the time, energy, and heart that they offered to those in their care. To these many professionals, who proffered equal parts of warmth, guidance, and care to me, I owe a debt of gratitude that is boundless. Who I am, and hope to be in my future career as a social worker, is a direct result of their unstinting efforts on my behalf.
