Introduction to Part Four: Practice Applications

Abstract

In this article the author introduces several of Catherine (Katy) Papell’s so far unpublished writings that look at direct practice issues in social work with groups and discusses the relevance of these writings to current practice and social work education. The reader is directed to several published articles that also address her views on group work practice. These articles are briefly reviewed.
