A Study of Styles of Learning for Direct Social Work Practice

Abstract

This article is based on a presentation that Papell made at the Annual Program Meeting of the Council on Social Work Education in March 1980, in collaboration with Judith A. B. Lee, who at the time was on the faculty of the University of Connecticut School of Social Work (and is currently pastoral director at Good Shepherd Ministries in Fort Myers, Florida). It presents Papell’s doctoral research, along with implications for social work education. [Guest editor’s note: Although this article refers to two authors, Papell’s collaborator, Judith A. B. Lee, has confirmed in conversation with the Guest Editor that Papell is sole author.]
