Knowledge of Human Sexuality Among Happily and Unhappily Married Couples

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to objectively measure knowledge of human sexuality in couples reporting high marital satisfaction and in couples reporting marital dissatisfaction and seeking counseling to test the hypothesis that knowledge of sexuality is related to marital happiness. Results support the hypothesis for both males and females. Strengths and limitations of the study are discussed as are implications for further research.
