ABSTRACT
The authors describe a Sex Education Program for pre-school and kindergarten age children with emotional and learning problems in a therapeutic center. It is explained that the “Baby Week” method combines experiential and didactic learning sequences geared to the developmental needs of this age group. The planning, organization and setting of the Sex Education Program are discussed and descriptions of some of the children's experiences are presented. It is reported that with structured play materials, teachers help to provide a setting in which curiosity and exploration are fostered with safety and within limits.
