Abstract
The general purpose of the study was to identify sexuality-related issues in the work of physicians at the health centers in one town in Finland, in addition to the kinds of sexual problems encountered at the physician office and treatment modalities used, quantity and quality of past sexuality education within the medical curriculum as well as its perceived adequacy towards skills establishment. There were two statistically significant differences in this study: more females than males requested continuing education on sexuality, and only female physicians had been requested sexuality-related information by the patients.
