Abstract
Teachers who are now in their third year as fully credentialed professionals reflect on the innovative teacher preparation program from which they received their training. The great majority of these graduates repeatedly stated that one of the most important and long-lasting contributions of the program to their professional development was fostering a network of colleagues and university faculty who continue to provide moral support, professional guidance, and resources. They indicated that this network was a key factor in retaining them in the program as well as in the teaching profession. Teachers also commented on program components such as coursework and advising.
