Abstract
The genus name Grandiella Lombardini, 1939, is restored, and the replacement name Grandiellina Fain, 1989, is placed as a junior objective synonym because the supposed senior homonym, Grandiella Williams, 1928, is shown to be a nomen nudum. The following new combinations are proposed: Grandiella longini, G. marinae, G. rogeri, G. soniae, and G. tacjannae (all from Grandiellina), and Canestriniella batocerae (from Grandiella).
