Abstract

In 2001 and 2002, Neoseiulus hanselli (Chant and Yoshida-Shaul) was found inside willow galls (Salix sp.) in Washington State, which is a range expansion for this species. The galls were caused by the eriophyid mite Aculus tetanothrix (Nalepa), and were present in conjunction with the predatory mites.
