Abstract

Two new species of oribatid mites, Austrachipteria phongnhae sp. nov. (Achipteriidae) and Galumna kebangica sp. nov. (Galumnidae), are proposed. Both species described are from mosses on trees of Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park (central Vietnam). This is a first record of the genus Austrachipteria in Vietnam.
