A new species of Leptus, the first erythraeid mite (Acari: Trombidiformes) from South Korea

ABSTRACT

Leptus (Leptus) andongensis n. sp. (Acari: Erythraeidae), collected as an ectoparasite of Meimuna sp. (Insecta: Homoptera: Cicadidae) from Andong, GB, Republic of Korea, is described and illustrated based on morphological characters of the larvae.
