Contribution to the knowledge of the oribatid mite genus Arthrovertex (Acari, Oribatida, Scutoverticidae), with description of a new arboreal species from Vietnam

ABSTRACT

A new arboreal species of Arthrovertex (Oribatida, Scutoverticidae)—A. kornilovi sp. nov.—is described, based on adults collected from tree branches of Dipterocarpus alatus in Cat Tien National Park, Vietnam. A generic diagnosis, identification key, distribution, and habitats of representatives of Arthrovertex are presented.
