Taxonomic changes and synonyms for the East Asian species of the genus Nemoura (Plecoptera: Nemouridae)

Abstract

Three revivals of combinations and four new junior synonyms are reported in the genus Nemoura with a redescription of an additional species. They are: N. chinonis Okamoto, 1922, [removed from Protonemura, = N. papilla of Kawai, 1967 (nec Okamoto, 1922)]; N. longicercia Okamoto, 1922, [removed from Mesonemoura = N. asakawae Kohno, 1941, syn. nov.]; N. jezoensis Okamoto, 1922, [removed from Protonemura, = N. gracilis Zhiltzova, 1982, syn. nov.]; N. papilla Okamoto, 1922 [= N. denticulata Kawai, 1954, syn. nov. and N. levanidovae Zwick, 1974, syn. nov.].
