Rediscovery of Ptiloneuropsis immaculata Roesler 1940 (Psocoptera: Ptiloneuridae), Augmented Description and Neotype Designation

Abstract

One male Ptiloneuropsis immaculata Roesler was collected at the type locality (Parque Nacional Itatiaia, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil), on 7 September, 2003; it is designated as neotype. The species is redescribed and illustrated. The type will be deposited in the Insect Collection, Instituto Nacional de Pesquisas da Amazônia, Manaus, Amazônas, Brasil.
