Die Scutigeromorpha (Chilopoda) von Costa Rica. Ueber Dendrothereua arborum Verhoeff, 1944

Zusammenfassung

In Costa Rica kommen zwei Scutigeromorphen vor, nämlich Pselliodes nigrovittata (Meinert, 1886) und Scutigera linceci (Wood, 1867). Der Autor beschreibt u.a. die weiblichen Gonopoden der letztgenannten Art und diskutiert die systematische Stellung von Dendrothereua arborum Verhoeff, 1944, die zusammen mit drei weiteren von Chamberlin beschriebenen Arten (Scutigera homa, Sc. dorothea, Sc. phana) als Synonym von Scutigera linceci erkannt wird.

En el Costa Rica se encuentran dos especies de Quilópodos Escutigeromorfos: Pselliodes nigrovittata (Meinert, 1886) y Scutigera linceci (Wood, 1867). El autor describe los gonopodos femeninos de esta ultima especie y discute la posición sistematica de Dendrothereua arborum Verhoeff, 1944 que junta con tres otras especies describidas por Chamberlin (Scutigera homa, Sc. dorothea, Sc. phana) es reconocida por sinónima con Scutigera linceci.

Summary

Two Scutigeromorph centipeds occur in Costa Rica: Pselliodes nigrovittata (Meinert, 1886) and Scutigera linceci (Wood, 1867). The author describes the female gono‐pods of the latter species and discusses the systematic position of Dendrothereua arborum Verhoeff, 1944 which together with three other species described by Chamberlin (Scutigera homa, Sc. dorothea, Sc. phana) is recognized to be synonymous with Scutigera linceci.
